(Here we go. I'm only introducing one character this time. It'll be easier that way.)( At first we'll meet up at the Greil Mercenary base and go from there.)
Name: Terran Night
biopsy: blond haired medium short length, light tan skin, hazel eyes, well muscled,
age: 18
Location: Mellior outskirts
Sibling: 10 year old sister Sarah
Hobbies: swordsmanship and slight studies, playing with his younger sister, riding his weavren over the country-side.
Personality: Light most of the time and a good sense of humor yet can be serious when need be.
Pet/kinda partner thing: Xair-weavren(he can't talk but he can convey feelings. )
Terran pushed back an errant blade of his blond hair from his eyes. He was working on his family's farm just outside of Melior (capital of Crimea). His family needed him so badly because his parents were old and his sister was too young to help out in the field. His father had recently grown ill and was not able to help out either so he had to support the family.
Terran was one of the very few people in all of Crimea owned a weavren. He found his egg laying near a stream in the forest in the mountains bordering Crimea, Gallia, Daein, and Begnion, when he was seven years old during a family visit in Daein were some relatives lived. He named him Xair. Xair's growth was explosive and at one time his parents told him that he had to get rid of him because they couldn't afford to feed him. He went to the barracks and one of the generals told him that they would feed it because it would be a waste to see such a magnificent creature go. (Also because they were hoping Terran would join the military. That part he knew but it didn't bother him because he wanted himself to join the military too.
In the few free moments he had he went to the castle barracks to train and ride Xair. Although he didn't dislike it, Terran didn't want to be a farmer, he had always dreamed of becoming a great warrior and maybe even a general of the royal guard. He had always wanted to serve the royal family because he loved them. King Ramon was the most beloved king in the history of Crimea along with his wife. The King's brother Crowned Prince Renning was also an exceptional man and well renowned for his skill in battle. It was a dream that would happen if Terran had anything to do with it, but for now he was resigned to working on the farm.
After he got done with watering the last little segment of the cornfield he went inside the small stone house that lay on the outside of the farm. When he got inside his sister greeted him jubilantly by jumping into his arms." Terr you almost missed dinner.""How is my little princess of a sister?" She giggled. He walked into the kitchen. His mom was waiting. "I hired a new hand Terran", his mother said. She looked a little shaken. "Why?" The farm isn't cutting Terran, especially with your father going to the healer all of the time. "Terran I need you to get another job while the hand takes care of the farm." Terran got excited. This was his chance to get out there. He heard about a mercenary group not to far west that payed pretty well. Grey, Grow, something like that. "That will be fine," he said to his mother. "I've got something in mind, but....," he hesitated. "But what?,"asked his mother. "I probably won't see you hardly at all. I'm going to a mercenary base and then I can just send the money by cart if they hire me." His mother looked down."I'll have to think about it," she said quietly. The next morning after packing his stuff and he ate breakfast, he was ready to go. "Are you sure you want me to do this mom?" Terran asked. She nodded. "Where is Sarah?" Terran asked. "You're already off schedule. "Tell her goodbye for me will you?" "I will." "Go and make us proud." He hugged his mother. "I will."
He jumped on Xair, his bags all packed up and flew off. He went through several outlying towns to get directions. He was headed the right way. He smelled the crisp summer air. He loved flying. He looked back and there was something moving in his bag. He cautiously opened it and there was his sister. "Do you ever wash your clothes?! It smells in there!" Sarah what are you doing here?!" exclaimed Terran. "I'm going with you. Somebody's got to take care of you." I'm taking you back," said Terran. "You can't because I've already bribed Xair and he won't take me back. Even try to ask him." Terran just stared at this little blond haired demon he called a sister. "What did she give you you oversized lizard?" he whispered into Xair's ear. The weavren just grunted. "Mom's going to be worried sick about you you know that." Well yeah, but tough." she said. "What am I going to do with you?" Terran said sarcastically, pulling her toward him. "I'm afraid there's not very much room in the saddle," Terran said. "That's ok, you can ride int the bag," the little imp retorted. Terran laughed. How he loved this little monster. "We'll have to mail a letter to mom and dad when we get there to tell them where you are."
A couple hours later they flew over the fort where the Greil mercenaries stayed. "I hope they'll give me a job," he thought. They alit on the ground and as soon as they got off Xair, a girl about Sarah's age with brown hair, bright blue eyes and a blue scarf tied around her neck, wearing a yellow outfit ran out to greet them. "You look tired. Are you here looking for a job? My name's Mist. I'll help you carry things inside." Sarah and Terran just looked at eachother. They talked to Mist on there way in and found that there was a job opening. She led them down a few halls. "This will be your room." Mist said. It was a small room with two beds and a dresser. This working out great. "Now all you need to do is talk to my father and you'll be part of the family." They politely thanked her. They followed Mist down the winding halls. She led them to a door and knocked. This was the moment of truth.
They walked in. Seated at a big stone desk was a large man with brown hair and piercing blue eyes. This was Mist father alright. He stood up and introduced himself. "I'm Greil, leader of this band, how can I help you?" he said in a powerful voice. Terran introduced himself and his sister and told Greil what they wanted. Greil said he would see by examining and testing Terran. As for Sarah, well either he somehow knew that she was a handful or he just let her be. "What type of warrior are you?" Greil asked. "I'm not really to good yet but I can weild a sword and a spear somewhat. I also have a weavren," Terran said. Greil seemed to perk up about the weavren. "Not very many of those around Crimea but that would be useful," said Greil. "One more thing remove your tunic." Greil commanded. He circled around Terran examining and muttering to himself. "You've got good muscle but it needs to be toned." Terran put his shirt back on. Greil stuck out his hand "Welcome to the family."Mist squealed with excitement.
Greil introduced his deputy commander Titania, a horse-knight Oscar and his two brothers Boyd and Rolf, the healer Rhys, Greil's son Ike. All was going to be alright. After introductions Terran asked Mist for some parchment and he wrote a letter to his mother explaining everything that had happened and delivered it to a mail-runner.
They were there a few days getting to know everyone until somebody came to the fort. A new arrival had just arrived.(That's you.)
(Just kidding about the one person. Sarah just kind of snuck into the story.)(Now introduce your character/s and we'll be on our way.)
