"Is it time yet?"
"Silv...ask that again, and you won't have a mouth." Dest said with a sigh, flicking her red hair away from her face in apparent irratation. Cloe, who stood nearby, couldn't help but laugh. The group stood at the entrance to Spring, a peaceful little town by the ocean. Cloe closed her eyes, and gave a smile.
"Here she comes."
"Who, Eniisa?" Silv said, sitting up from the bench, looking around.
"No. I invited her myself." Cloe said, opening her ice blue eyes to look at Silv with a slight grin.
"Who?!"
"Me! Hiya Silv!" came the suddenly excited voice, and Silv was hugged from behind. When he was let go, Silv turned to see a blond-haired girl standing there, pretty blue eyes seeming to sparkle, a bright smile on her lips.
"Aah, Mimix! Nice to see you!" Silv couldn't help but reach out and ruffle Mimix's already fluffy hair. Silv turned to Cloe, and raised an eye brow. "I know where this is going...this concerns him, doesn't it?" By him, Silv reffered to Akeil. Cloe just smiled that sweet smile of hers, and looked out toward the Mistera Woods.
Mimix sat next to Dest while flattening down her hair, and they got into a brief conversation about all that had happened. Silv took up post next to Cloe, so that he might see Eniisa coming. But for all that he new, that tricky girl would probably find one way or another to surprise him...

"Boo," Eniisa said suddenly, standing behind Silv, a hand on her hip in her usual stance. Unlike at the wedding, this time she was dressed her adventure, a short sword sheathed at her side and Prophecy in her left hand. "Sorry it took so long, but..."
In the middle of her sentence, a tall -- no, huge -- man stopped behind her with a grin. "We had to pick up some reinforcements." In his hands, held up by their respective shirts, were two people: One was the 'famous' Akeil, giving a nervous sort of grin, but the other, a girl, was someone new...
"That was wicked awesome!" the girl cried, her sleek brown tail slicing through the air at top speed. "Let's go again! Let's go again!"
Ruann laughed and set the two down. "Well, I guess I'd better get back! Play nice, kids!" As suddenly as he appeared, the Guardian of Time was gone, leaving his daughter in absolute shock. He left us with a...What was she, anyways? Eniisa mused, staring at the diminutive girl.

"Holy flippin--!" Silv proclaimed, spinning around and losing his balance, and falling down to sit upon the ground. He blinked at Eniisa, and the Ruan, mouth slightly hanging open in awe, or shock.
Cloe turned before Eniisa spoke, smiling and giving her a nod. The welcome was also given to Ruan before he disappeared, and Cloe smiled to Akeil and Kira. She gave Kira second looked, and leaned down a bit.
"Hello there," she said kindly.
Mimix rushed over to hug Akeil, very, very happy, to say at the least.
"Aki! Long time no see!"
Dest helped Silv to his feet, who gave a laugh.
"Aha, I knew it! Nice to see you again, Eniisa." Silv said, smiling as well. The air about them seemed to be zipped with energy!

"Silv, don't die before we start looking. I think we'd all prefer it if you didn't die during or after the quest either," the Shadow Guardian said with a mischeivous smile, nodding to Cloe and the small girl...thing.
"Hey, my name's Kira!" the tiny girl exclaimed, her tail giving a couple more excited waves. "Who're you?"
Akeil smiled, entirely surprised and entirely happy at Mimix's appearance. "Hey! It has been a while!" he exclaimed happily, hugging her back.

Silv mumbled in a good fashion, brushing off his tunic. "Just watch yourself, Eniisa." He said jokingly, sticking his tongue briefly out at her.
Cloe smiled, thinking of how cute Kira was. "Nice to meet you, ila Kira. I am Cloe. It's good to have you here." Though Cloe had no idea why Kira was here, she did not mind at all.
Mimix smiled, refraining herself from bouncing with apparent joy. She let go of Akeil, still smiling. She looked to Silv as he began to speak.
"Well, we have two options: travel by foot for about...two days, or I can summon up some silver to buy us some horses and shorten that time. But, there is always the possiblily that Bliz will not be there in the desert, and we can not stray too far. The Dioshni, Desert Folk, would not welcome us very well. By traveling to Forsake, we should at least be able to learn if they saw a blizzard or...something." Silv finished with a shrug.
Dest smiled then, having kept her distance. She would get to know them all well enough soon, as it seemed.
Cloe spoke up then. "It really does not matter to me--but as we do not know Bliz's current state, it might be best to get there as quicky as possible."

Eniisa thought about it for a few seconds. There were consequences to both. Magically poofing silver out of thin air could cause economic upheaval in the long run, but those horses were needed for speed. But, the laws of exchange would most likely be in action...However, walking might result in not getting to Blix in time...She shrugged. "Whatever you think is best. He is your brother, after all."
Akeil nodded in agreement and Kira blinked. This was almost too much for her! She had no idea why she was there or why any of this was happening. All she knew was that it was just about the coolest thing since sliced bread!

Silv nodded, decided. "Okay then! We'll take the horses! And here in Spring, they have the new breed in. Rather expensive, but we aren't going to keep them, so that'll make it a bit cheaper." Silv said, turning on his heel and walking into the shady, cheerful town, talking to himself.
"Hey, Dest...do they really have the new breed here?" Mimix asked, curious as she looked over to Dest, who watched Silv with a slight hopeless expression. Dest nodded.
"Yes. Turns out the Dioshni breeded them." Then the red-haired girl began to walk after Silv. Cloe straightened back up, then gestured to the rest of the group to follow as she also headed into the town.
Mimix stayed at Akeil's side, and gently bit her bottom lip.
"Uh, well, this may be a problem for me...I don't know how to ride a horse. Well, I know how, but, uh..." Mimix rubbed the back of her head shyly. "It's not something I do well at all."
-----
Silv crossed his arms proudly as they stood before the fence, where interesting colored horses stood in the shade of a large weeping willow tree. In the shade they looked to be a dark brown, but when one would step out into the sun light--streaks of other darker colors, like dark blue and green, would seem to flash across the horses' flanks.
Mimix put her hands on the top of the wooden fence, and smiled.
"Oooh! These horses!"
Cloe nodded, impressed. "These horses are very useful for traveling, long distance or short. Apart from their tire-less effort, speed and strength, they get their nourishment from the sun. But come nightfal, they are forced to stop and rest."
"Yep! So, go on in and pick one! They are friendly, trust me. If you need any supplies, there is a shop just a bit ways down the road," Silv said, pointing to their left, "but otherwise, I got most of the food situation handled, and the horses you picked payed for."

Kira, of course, was already in the corral, staring up at the horses. "They're so big!" she gasped. With her miniscule size, she really only came to the horses' knees.
Akeil stood between Mimix and his sister at the fence, staring at the horses with a judging eye, trying to decide which one to pick. "They are big...Bigger and so much sleeker. It must be because of the wamer climate."
"Exactly," his sister agreed. "Artic horses are generally smaller and furrier." She turned to Mimix quickly. "You seem a lot more excited. I take it you've been on one?"

Cloe entered the corral, and stood there for a moment. With a wicker, one of the horses came right up to her, and nugded her shoulder. Cloe smiled and carefully ran a hand down along the length of it's back, then down its right leg. Satified, she patted it on the nose. Looking over to Kira, she almost laughed.
"Would you like to ride with me, Kira? Or try one for your own?"
Mimix paused for a moment, then clapsed her hands behind her back to keep them from fidgeting.
"I don't ride horses, never really had...I just hear about them in the market." she said a bit softly, then gave a sly smile. "I guess this would be a good time to learn, huh?"
Silv blinked, then laughed, reaching over and ruffling Mimix's hair. "Maybe, depending on how fast you learn. Hey, Dest! Seems like you have a problem," Silv called, looking back into the corral, for where Dest stood was a little knot of horses standing around her, trying to get her attention.
Dest shrugged, looking over each of them carefully, not really sure.
Mimix smoothed down her ruffled hair, tempted to tackle Silv--but thought against it. She glanced between Eniisa and Akeil.
"So! Any ones you like?" she asked as Silv went into the corral, and came to the same predicament as Dest. Silv rubbed the back of his head, and turned to Cloe, who already had the single horse.
"Cloe! How did you do it?" Cloe just smiled, keeping the secret to herself.

Kira glanced at Cloe and then back up at the horses with a flat, judging look followed by a nervous grin. "Eheheh, guess I'd better ride with you..." she replied, scooting slightly closer. Suddenly, those big hooves looked awfully threatening.
Without a word, Eniisa climbed over the fence and walked up to an unclaimed horse, and then turned around to her brother and friend.
"Well," Akeil laughed. "She makes a quick descision. And..." he paused an blushed slightly. "We could, um, ride together for a bit if you want. To get used to it, right?"

Cloe probably would have squealed...but that would be highly out of her character. She just smiled and scooped down, picking Kira up then gently plopping her down onto the horse's back. Keeping a hand on the horse's back, Cloe guided it out of the corral to a shed where she could get it saddled up.
Silv and Dest teamed up together, using *Ulkni-key-ulkni to determine which horses were better apt to sit them. They ended up with two horses, one slightly shorter than the other. Silv declared he should get the taller one, since, well, he was taller than Dest. Dest, however, wanted that one to.
They faced eachother for a second, then did rock paper scissors. Dest won, and led her prize from the corral. Silv shrugged, patted the smaller horse on the head, and followed Dest to the shed.
Mimix smiled as Eniisa easily chose a horse, and looked to Akeil as he spoke, her smile getting brighter.
"Yes, that actually sounds like a good idea. I'd love that!" Mimix paused as she heard a 'cough' from the stable, but choose to ignore it.

*Ulkni-key-ulkni is a harmless spell that compares a suitable balance with its caster and what it was casted on.

Eniisa looked up as the Moonstone siblings used their magic, slowly climbing onto her own horse, watching with detached interested. Magic certainly was different in Liberta, and in more ways than she expected...She would have to be careful. She clicked her tongue, and swung the reins slightly, guiding the horse to her friends.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold it there, missy! I am NOT some sorta teddy bear!" Kira huffed, despite the fact that she was clinging to Cloe in a very teddy bear-like way. "And there shall be no galloping..." ((Kira: ;-; ))
Akeil smiled and quickly climbed the fence, stopping at the top and grabbing the reins of a nearby horse. "Well, come along then!" he said, holding a hand back down to Mimix."

Cloe just smiled, letting Kira cling to her, giving the option for her to get off or stay on as she saddled up her horse, since not all of them in the corral had been.
Silv and Dest finished as well, now outside of the barn. Silv made sure the saddle bags were nice and tied up, then got on. He glanced to Cloe, amused as she got on hers as well and the clinging Kira.
"Do not worry ila Kira, we'll keep it slow until you get use to it." Cloe promised, holding the reins firmly, yet gently in her hands. She nodded to Eniisa as she came near, then looked over to Akeil and Mimix as they got situated.
Mimix hesitated, not really one for horses. But she supposed it would be a lot better than walking. She took his hand, and was suddenly excited.
Dest looked in the direction of their destination, where one could barely see the tint of glinting sand. "Hmm. Shouldn't be too hard to find a blizzard admist a sandstorm." Dest remarked, getting more comfortable, but otherwise seemed perfectly able to handle the horse, who whickered as if in reply.
"It depends if that blizzard is currently...active, Dest. As much as I hate to say that, we need to keep open all possibilities." Silv replied, also glancing down that way.
Cloe said nothing, until she turned to everybody.
"Are we ready to go? Make sure you are, for we may not be able to turn back, nor do we know how the desert folk will take to us."
Silv and Dest voiced their readiness, of course.
Far enough to be decently undetected stood a concealed figure, which shifted as it watched the group of people...and things...on horses ready to depart. Bright green eyes illuminated for a moment as its gaze settled upon Cloe, Akeil, Eniisa then Mimix. The others were disregarded for the moment, and a curious grin came to take place. A mere second later, it was gone.

((What, did Creepy-and-Mysterious not noticed Kira? XD))
Kira's eye narrowed as she seemed to realize something. "Hold on a second," she said, taking a hand off the horse's back and pointing towards Cloe. "How old are you...?"
Akeil smiled and helped lift Mimix unto the horse and climbed on in front of her, being very, VERY careful not to whack her with a boot or something. He grabbed a hold of the reins and looked over his shoulder. "So, are you ready?"
"Well, if our record is means anything, we're bound to find him. We all seem drawn to trouble after all," Eniisa stated slyly, glancing at a few particular people. "I'm ready whenever the rest of you are."

(It did. Trust me. xD)
"Eighteen at the moment." Cloe replied, gently urging her horse into a walk. "And I am guessing you are not as young as you look, correct?"
Mimix stiffened, her last experience on the back of a horse having not been so pleasent. But this time around should be different--she actually trusted the person with the reins. Willing herself to relax, she nodded and gently wrapped her arms around Akeil's waist so that she would not slip off.
Silv couln't help but grin at Eniisa, wondering who was the actual magnet. He urged his horse to come beside Cloe's, and there they paced equally as they headed through the town. Silv waved to Kira, and introduced himself then.
Dest took pace behind the group, years of habit making her automaticly distance herself and keep her at the rear watch. Mimix looked over her shoulder, and offered a smile to Dest, and got a small one in return.
Finally, they were on their way as the beginnings of the afternoon heat began to wash upon them as they exited the town. The sparse grass soon drifted into white and golden sand...they were officially in the Forsake Desert.
----- (You don't have to read this part, but you might wanna. Gives you some information on our Creepy-and-Mysterious thing. >=3)
Liberali- Healer's Branch
The constant thudding, noises and voices of construction were enough to drive Bliss up the wall and back. After the war, it had been decided to expand the Healing Spot and change its name officially. Since more people were becoming interested in the healing arts, and wanting to be apprentices...it was well suited.
Bliss paced in the library, worry overtaking her. She knew Cloe had gathered a group of people to go find him, but she still worried about Bliz. It wasn't the same without him around, and she wondered what made him leave--or even if he was taken.
Dunstin watched Bliss pace, and sighed gently. He stopped her by putting a hand on her shoulder, and gave a smile.
"Hey, relax. I trust Cloe and the others to find him. I mean, Silv and Dest went along too, right? Silv called it something...oh yes, starsense. They'll find him." Bliss absorbed that in, but it did not seem to register, for she began to start pacing again.
At that moment Ruja burst through the door, and rounded on Dunstin, who faced her calmly.
"Dunstin! Where did it go? You--" Dunstin covered her mouth, and shook his head.
"Please, Ruja. You can yell at me after we get Bliss settled down." He uncovered Ruja's mouth, and gestured to the pacing Bliss, who did not seem to notice Ruja had made her usual grand entrance. Ruja flicked her tail in frustration at Dunstin, but moved over to Bliss and gently got a hold of her arm.
"Bliss, snap out of it. This isn't like you," Ruja said, now seeing why Dunstin had been so concerned. There was a strange look in Bliss's eyes. Without another word, Ruja steared the green-haired healer over to a couch that stood near a bookshelf, and made her sit down. Ruja knelt, looking her in the eye.
"Hmm. Bliss?" Ruja said gently, trying to coax Bliss from her calm, yet frenzied state. Once again, Bliss did not seem to register what was being said. Instead, her green eyes flashed.
"It's your fault!" Bliss shouted, and lunged at Ruja, punching at her with all the fury she could muster. Dunstin rushed forward, and was barely able to get Bliss off, pinning her arms behind her back.
Ruja jumped to her feet, feeling a bruise form on her cheek. Had this been any other person, she would have fought back. But this was Bliss...
Ruja readied herself, and motioned for Dunstin to let her go. When he did, Bliss attempted to jump at Ruja again, but stopped in mid stride as dark chains suddenly wrapped around her, making her fall to her knees on the floor. Ruja staggered, not use to summoning like that.
Dunstin came to Ruja's side, and they looked down upon Bliss, who glared at them with hatred that was clearly not her own. Or was it?
"...Your were saying?"
Ruja snapped her gaze to Dunstin, and sighed.
"You let it go, didn't you?"
"Define 'it'?"
Ruja looked at him a moment later, making sure he was telling the truth. But she found no flaw behind his question, and looked down upon Bliss again.
"It, Dunstin, was here. And it got to Bliss."
"Are you saying that 'it' made Bliss go, well...mad?"
"Yes."
"But how? What is it?"
Ruja looked into Bliss' now black eyes, then back to Dunstin.
"That question is not for now. The question is what information it obtained from her mind." Both of them were silent for a moment, then alarm crept into their eyes.
"Do you mean...Cloe and the others!"
