Eniisa eyed the desert dwellers' turbans, the small mischievous part of her mind taking control her a second. She could just imagine how well those hats would flutter away should a wind elemental or two find their way under, the shocked expressions of the dwellers, the snickering of her allies...
But, that might cause more problems then it would solve. Save the whole nearly taken prisoners thing, the dwellers had been fairly...nice...Although it did seem as if they were being taken prisoner.
"Well, misery loves company," she muttered, thinking of Bliz. Akeil blinked and looked over to her.
"What was that?" he asked.
"Bliz," was the simple reply. She was about to explain more when she was cut off by a quick squeak from Kira.
"Nonononono, I'll get up myself. Release meeeeeeeee!"

Cloe glanced at Kira, and smiled. She got down off her mount, and set Kira down. There was a groan from among the men, and uneasy shuffling. this was taking way too long.
But Ruja finally figured it out. At least she had it figured, though. Not only was Cloe purposley defying these men in the nicest and polite way she could, but Cloe was giving her the chance to escape. Ruja felt the blood drain from her face. It was a good thing these men hadn't actually looked at her yet. These men would only recognize her as an assassin...who she use to be.
In a blink of an eye she was in her Kit form, and flitted away so fast that it seemed to be nothing but an eye trick.
Cloe smiled to herself, and once Kira got up, she hoisted herself up behind her. Her plan was working perfectly.
-----
They rode on through the morning and well into the afternoon, which Silv had to wonder how they knew the group was coming. Then it hit him--the sanders. "Traitors," he muttered to himself, and secretly blamed Dest for scaring them off in such a rude manner.
The town wasn't very visible until you actually got there, but it was pretty neat. It was what you would expect in a desert, but also with gathering tents that served cool drinks and other such things, like trinkets.
Once they got to the edge of town, the men 'escorting' them departed, leaving the group to do their buisness. Cloe waited until they were gone, then got down off her horse and gestured for the others to do the same and gather around her.
It was obvious that she had a plan.

As Kira's feet landed back on the sand, she looked over her shoulder towards the desert men with a nasty, evil grin.
~~~~~~~
Eniisa brushed her dark hair out of her face with a sigh. This certainly was memorable. Interesting things tended to happen in desert colonies. It was a lot like Dehir, the main city of the desert territory of Ethornya...if a little nicer. She gl;anced over at Akeil, almost out of habit and a wave of guilt washed over her. Akeil, unless something major happened to the politics of Ethornya, would become the king of Dehir, being the only 'living' heir to the throne.
Yet another consequence.
Akeil, Eniisa, and Kira hopped off their horses and gathered around Cloe, ready to hear the plan.
"We will split up and gather up information about Bliz," Cloe began as everyone gathered around her, "and meet back up here and compare. The residents here shouldn't be too weary of us, just don't go using any ice magic. Akeil, Mimix, and Silv, you can stay in this front section of town. It's mostly shops, so there is bound to be rumors. Eniisa, Kira and myself will go further into the town and see what we can do. We won't go see Bliz just yet--keep that in mind. Dest, I need you to go off on your own and keep an innocent eye on our soldier friends that were so kind to escort us here."
Cloe paused for a second, and looked out toward the desert. "If I am thinking right, then we aren't going to get out of here so easily with Bliz. Especially if he really did attack these people. Ruja will arrive sooner or later with Nix if need be. There is something very...fishy about all of this, so we need to gather all the information up and then try to confirm a few things. Understood?"
Eniisa felt a slight twitch, way back in the depths of her mind. Three heroes going out on their own...She didn't doubt their abilities...totally...but things would certainly get interesting. Either way, she didn't protest. It wasn't her place to say.
"Split up, get info, and reconvene. Got it," Kira said. "If there's somethin' going on, I'll catch it!"
After everyone was satisfied with Cloe's plan, Dest departed. Cloe wished Akeil, Mimix, and Silv good luck before leading Eniisa and Kira further into the desert city.
Silv watched them leave, then looked around the market. It was fairly busy, and no one seemed to be bothered by them.
"Chill berry juice! A rare beverage all the way from Wodaji! Come and get it!" Silv looked further down to his right to see an elderly lady at her stand under her own gathering tent, waving around a bottle with icy-looking blue stuff.
"Let's start over there! And some of the juice would do us good," Silv remarked, glancing to Akeil and Mimix. "I can pay for it. The desert dwellers do not yet use silver, so I should have enough gems on me to get some."
-----
As the other three wandered deeper into town, the people pretty much disapated. During this time of day, they usually would stay in their houses or be doing things around the gathering tents. As Cloe lead the others around a corner, she stopped as someone came into view.
A tall, decently muscled man with surprsingly light brown hair and not so dark skin came walking toward them. A little girl was sitting on his left shoulder, another was clinging playfully to his othe arm, and three little boys were scurying around his feet and tossing a worn down rag ball to eachother. When the man finally looked up to see Cloe, Kira and Eniisa, he stopped. Then he smiled, and bowed slightly, sending the little girl on his shoulder into a giggle fit from the sudden movement.
Gareth straightened, his brown eyes warm and kind.
"Welcome, travelers. May I help you with anything?"
Akeil grinned and nodded. "That would be great. Thanks. I owe you if you ever visit Ethornya," he said. "In fact, it would be great if I could bring some home." The Ethornyan desert wasn't quite as warm, but it was more than warm enough for the hero. If he was expected to live there, then any way of cooling would be wonderful.
~~~~~~
It was habit. She tried to refrain from doing it, but she couldn't help it.
"We're looking for someone," Kira spouted, nice and blunt. She held an arm up in the air as high as she could, which wasn't far. "He's about yea tall, can start blizzards at will. Where is he?"
"Dear Nise," Eniisa muttered, a hand to her forehead.

Cloe tried to not react, but it couldn't be helped. She put a fore finger on her slightly bowed forehead, mostly in appology to Gareth. Recognizing the silent gesture of appology, Gareth just laughed.
"I think I know of this person. Fliown, please don't pull my hair," Gareth said to the girl on his shoulder, but she just giggled. Cloe glanced at the children, and then probably surprised her friends at the sudden off-topic question.
"Are those your, children?"
Gareth blinked, then laughed. "Stars no! I was just entertaining them. Go on to the market, kids," he said nicely, setting the girl down. The kids politley waved good bye to Gareth, Cloe, Eniisa and Kira, and darted off laughing and tossing the rag ball as they went. Gareth then turned back to the girls before him.
"Bliz Moonstone, correct? About time you guys got here, actually. I've been waiting for you."
-----
"It's a deal!" Silv said, gently clapping Akeil on the shoulder as they began to walk forward. Mimix wondered if Akeil knew what he had just gotten himself in to. Silv would only be too thrilled to go to Ethornya!
When they approached, the old woman's mouth slightly opened at the sight of Silv.
"You! You look like the blizzard man!" the old woman whispered fiercly, glancing around to see if anyone had overheard. She then looked to Akeil, and raised an eye brow. "And you are aiming to kill yourself, eh?! And you, young lady!" the woman turned her gaze to Mimix, who blinked. "You need to do something with that hair! Leaving it down like that isn't very smart in the desert!" She reached forward and grabbed Mimix's wrist, and then started to guide her toward a house. "Come children!"

Well, well, well, what have we here? Eniisa laughed inwardly. Whether by the inherited gift of prophecy (Not likely) or through common sense, she could definately see where this was going...But then again...what?
"You've been waiting for us?" she asked, raising an eyebrow in suspision How? Spies?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Uhhhh....Say what? Akeil was dumbfounded. Aiming to kills himself? How?
Then he glanced down at his armor, slowly heating up in the sun's bright rays. Oh.
It was then that Mimix was dragged into the senile lady's house. Unable to do anything, he simply followed them in, dazed and confused.
Sigh.
Cloe was surprised to find out that her cheeks were...a bit warm. She took a deep, unoticable breath and tried to pay attention.
"Yes, I have. Bliz told me you would show up some time. But mind you...he isn't really...himself."
Cloe couldn't help but blink. "Not himself? What is wrong with him?" At this Gareth looked to Eniisa, straight into her eyes.
"You should be able to 'detect' it, miss."
That's when Cloe realized it--it wasn't just that she was attracted to him, but he had some sort of power about him that was not noticed until you actually sought it out. But what is was...she couldn't tell. Cloe then glanced to Eniisa. She was catching on, but would Eniisa?
---
The crazy lady gently forced Mimix down into a chair, and instantly got to work on her hair. Silv watched with interest as the old woman managed to get her hair into a bun at the back of her head. He whistled playfully.
"Awesome!" he declared, winking at Mimix. She blushed slightly.
"Well, now that we are inside...my name is Glose, by the way...you would be good to know that you should be looking for a man named Gareth. He is the one who can tell you what you need to know. But really, young man..you should consider taking off your armor. It would draw less attention, and save your skin."
Mimix tried to hide her smile, but failed. Akeil without his armor...
Eniisa laid back attitude suddenly shot into overdrive, tensing up, almost like a jungle cat seeing a threat. She narrowed her eyes, staring back into Gareth's. "What do you know?" she questioned, not backing down.
He was right however. There were definate traces of...
"Scaaaaaaaary," Kia chirped.
Eniisa loosened slightly. She knew she shouldn't get defensive like that, but something else was bothering her. Something deep in the back of her mind, like a fly buzzing around. Something...something...she just couldn't tell.
~~~~~~~~
Akeil had to agree with Glose as he gingerly removed his armor. When adventuring, he never took it off. Never. Bad things tended to happen when he did. He and his friends would often get attacked when he removed his armor, or Eniisa would just to prove a point. Suffice to say, he was somewhat paranoid.
He folded the chain mail shirt over his arm and tucked it into the solid armor as he walked down the hall back to Silv and Mimix. "This feels...odd...I feel so light-weight..." he said quietly, rather surprised. He has been so used to all that weight, that without it he felt light as a feather, his movements quicker.
"Enii's gonna kill me," he said nervously.

Gareth blinked, then rubbed the back of his head almost shyly.
"Forgive me, miss." Gareth sighed then, looking away from Eniisa. "Unlike the others, I believe Bliz was not himself when he attacked this town. I have met him before...I think he was trying to come to me for help. There was a moment when Bliz seemed to fight off whatever it was that holds him, but all he could say was that Cloe and others would most likely come looking for him."
Cloe felt a pang run through her body. If Bliz had been in trouble...why wouldn't he have come to her? Or Meruu, Bliss? Was it that bad...?
Gareth suddenly snapped his gaze to the direction Cloe, Eniisa and Kira had come from. "Something's wrong,"
---
Mimix stood up and smiled, and walked the rest of the distance between them. She looked Aki over, and smiled again.
"I bet you do! I would feel lighter, too! As for Eniisa...she'll have to get through me first!" ^.^!
Suddenly, Mimix's outer-air seemed to quickly fade from her cheerfullness to something else. Her eyes became a bit distant, and the world seemed to tilt and spin in every possible direction in her vision. She gently grabbed on to the nearest thing--Akeil.
Silv moved forward at once, and gently set a hand on Mimix's shoulder, but was quick to withdraw it as the same thing tried to overcome him. "Holy stars...something's attacking her..."
Glose put a hand to her mouth, but didn't know what to do. The air about the house seemed to...change. Seemed to become more thick.
-----
(As a side note- See how Silv touched her, and the same thing would have happened to him if he hadn't let go? As you have probably wondered already, Mimix had grabbed a hold of Akeil. But nothing would happen to him--he's from another world, and therby not 'connected' to Liberta as she is. If that makes any sense xD?)

Eniisa went into overdrice again, but this time not in her defense. She knew letting three heroes wandering off on their own was a bad idea! Three in one place was even worse, too easy a target. She unsheathed her dagger and turned around. "We have to regroup. Now." She would go with or without them, but they deserved a warning.
"Now hold on just a second," Kira replied, her hands on her hips. "We don't even know its them!"
The Ethornyan's eyes narrowed. "Oh, it's them." Knowing their luck, who else could it be?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Every time. Every time. That armor was cursed! Akeil took Mimix by the shoulders and held her up slightly. "What is it?" he asked worriedly. He had a horrible feeling in the pit of his stomach, that something terrible was about to happen. He just didn't know what...
Gareth nodded, but looked to Eniisa. "Sheath that dagger as we are running, if you will. Until we see what the danger is, keep that on your person. The whole city doesn't need to aroused by your running around with a dagger. Follow me." Though he knew perfectly well that Eniisa could pin-point them down, he decided to take charge so that it would not look like he, being a rather tall big-ish (you get the point) fellow, did not look like he was chasing three ladies. That would be awkward. So he led the way, Cloe running at Eniisa's side and hoping little Kira would keep up--which she would. Well, I gave them the chance. But it seems that those three can not be together without suppervision...Cloe thought, thinking of Akeil, Silv and Mimix. Sigh. ----- Silv ran a hand through his hair, but Glose tapped him on the shoulder. Upon looking at her, the old woman smiled and held up a vail with an icy light blue liquid. "Chill berry juice?" " What? Don't you see what is happening here, lady?!" Silv declared, wonding just how senile this lady was. But at that moment the door burst open, and in came a tall man, Cloe, and the other two. Silv was obviously washed in relief. "Thank the stars! Mimix just..." Silv couldn't finish, looking back to the Time Apprentice. Cloe was about to go forth, but both Gareth and Silv stopped her. Just realizing something, Silv blinked at Akeil. "Hey...isn't anything happening to you?" Mimix didn't seem to hear Akeil's voice, and she snapped her eyes shut. Everyone in the room would feel a bit...weird. Sudden lurches within ones self, and the like... ( If that didn't make sense, xD! Mimix is connected with time, and with It messin' around with her being...yeah.... '...)
(Yeah, big problem. XD)
Akeil blinked for a second as realization sunk in. Nothing was happening to him! He was holding onto Mimix, but nothing! "Wait, why isn't anything happening to me?" he exclaimed, almost loosening his grip on Mimix in surprise.
"I have a better question!" Eniisa started. "Where is your armor?"
"Eniisaaaaa, this isn't the time nor the place!"
"Exactly," his sister added, matter-of-factly.
Akeil shook his head, confused. "What?"
"We're not of this world and not connected to it, so you're not affected."
Akeil relaxed very slightly as he realized this. That certainly made sense. Sure, Eniisa was confusing as ever, but at least something made sense. Mimix, on the other hand...
